Programme Overview

Standard duration: 4 years.

This programme is called the Bachelor in Economics and Business and is delivered in a hybrid model, with classes taking place face-to-face or online through digital platforms, offering the following specializations: Economics and Business Administration.

Admission Requirements

Access to UJC courses, as a public higher education institution, follows Mozambican legislation in force, namely Law no. 27/2009 of September 29. Candidates who have completed Grade 12 of the National Education System or equivalent may access the Economics and Business degree through the admission exam, which is the single selection criterion established by UJC.

Graduate Profile

Graduates in Economics and Business develop competencies in three dimensions: knowing, doing, and being. They acquire mastery of fundamental economic concepts, theories and models, logical and critical thinking, market analysis, use of ICTs for data gathering, preparation of development plans, strategic market vision, teamwork with ethics and responsibility, respect for cultural diversity and openness to new ideas.
